  is this still a belief? no 'marraige' after being resurected?

  i was having a discussion with my sister yesterday, and she said to me,'mom told me that if dad dies at armageddon, she cant get remarried in the new system' .

  i told he i have never heard such a thing, but i do recall that it was believed that anyone who dies now, cannot be married in the 'new world' because they are to be as angels in heaven.. she said , so why be resurrected if yiu cant live your dream of having a loving mate and perfect children?

  god is still dictating to you how you will live.

  Some of the angels missed the memorandum, although they didn't get marry in

  heaven they came down to earth and married the women. So that

  tell me they still had the urge to do a little bumping in the sack.

  The whole thing is crazy as hell.

  Many christian faiths have an EARTHLY resurrection belief.....

  i was surprised to learn many other mainstream christian religions believe in a physical earthly resurrection.

  even catholics.

  it seems the belief is that as of now one goes to heaven to wait, then in the future will have an earthly resurrection.

  I personally have never talked to a believer that believed in a

  earthly resurrection except JW's. Most people can't wait to fly

  around in heaven, meet their love ones and sing praises all day.

  Earthquake!.. and JW superstition.

  while in service on saturday, i was sitting with an elder that i have known for years having a coffee break.

  we were discussing the up-coming convention and what we had to do etc.

  then, (there was a tv up on the wall in the coffee place where we were) on the screen burst the news of the nepal earthquake.

  They (JW) had a field day when the San Fernando California earthquake hit.

  Why, because it was the year of 1971, four more years before your neighbors,

  family, children, over 6 billion people are fried. The KH was filled at the next

  meeting. This is a sign we are definitely in the last days and I believed that crap.

  in 1986, peter davies was on holiday in kenya after graduating from louisiana state university .. .

  on a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air.

  the elephant seemed distressed, so peter approached it very carefully.

  Yes I feel the same "Criticism hurts" but it's good for you.

  It's funny as A JW knocking on doors I was called a lot of names, told

  I was bat sh--t crazy, a sale out to my race, I have no idea what I'm talking

  about. But what did we do, shake the dust from our shoes and go to the

  next door. We did not lose a night sleep.
